Sun. Nov. 22 - Sun. Nov. 29, 2026 Havana

Overview

As the U.S. government continues to intensify its economic war against Cuba, traveling to the island, listening to Cuban people, learning from their experiences, and bringing humanitarian aid are concrete acts of solidarity that challenge a policy built on isolation and collective punishment.

Join Global Exchange for an education-focused solidarity delegation to witness life under the U.S. blockade and stand alongside Cuban educators, students, therapists, and organizers working to provide educational opportunities and support their communities’ well-being.

We will learn directly from those confronting the devastating impacts of the blockade, including educators working to provide education for all despite widespread power outages, fuel shortages that disrupt transportation, and the growing difficulty of obtaining basic school supplies.

We will meet with students, special education providers, and community members working in sexual education, while visiting community spaces where art and cultural traditions thrive. We’ll also travel into the countryside to learn how communities beyond Havana are navigating the daily impacts of U.S. sanctions.

We will also bring humanitarian aid directly to the Cuban people. Each delegate will carry essential supplies to help address urgent needs created by the U.S. blockade, contributing to a collective effort of solidarity with Cuban communities.

Come see firsthand how the U.S. blockade affects everyday life in Cuba. Come listen to the Cuban people. Come stand in solidarity with Cuba. And return ready to speak out against the policies coming out of Washington and the harm they inflict on the Cuban people.
