We invite you to take a moment to watch this important and informative webcast: Mayday: Fighting for families and international workers.
On International Workers Day, May 1st, and at a time when an international health crisis is rewriting the relationship between labor and capital, Global Exchange hosted an online forum to discuss how we can support immigrant workers and their families.
The discussion will feature organizers of key coalitions and networks that are active in the cross border struggle to end the criminalization of immigrant workers.
*Ravi Ragbir is the Executive Director of the New Sanctuary Coalition, a multi-faith immigrant-led organization that creates support systems for and empowers those navigating the immigration system. (https://www.newsanctuarynyc.org)
*Alma Maquitico is the Co-Director of the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, (NNIRR), a national organization of local coalitions and immigrant, refugee, community, religious, civil rights and labor organizations and activists.
