January 11 - 14, 2025 Pickup: Airport

Join Global Exchange for an URGENT Solidarity delegation to Cuba. Cuba is facing historic challenges; recent blackouts nationwide and the impact of devastating hurricanes have been made worse by the long term hardships resulting from the US Blockade. And all of this is taking place against the added specter of an inbound US Administration all but certain to worsen US policies towards Cuba.

Global Exchange is mobilizing to rush humanitarian aid to the island to support the Cuban People and make important people-to-people connections.

We’ve designed a few short trips to give participants a chance to bring much-needed humanitarian supplies to the Island. Urgent needs include over-the-counter medicines and medical supplies, non-perishable foods, clothing and much more. When you join us on one of these vital trips, our days will also be filled with unforgettable people-to-people experiences where we hear from Cuban’s working in community projects, disaster relief, small business owners and many others to learn about what their daily life is like and what their hopes are for the future.

Your presence on these trips can make a huge difference during this difficult time for Cuba. And even though the island is experiencing significant hardships, these trips provide much needed cash infusions for the people of Cuba.

You can choose from one of three date ranges:

  • January 11 – 14
  • January 18 – 21
  • January 25 – 28

Please be advised that trips will be confirmed as long as each delegation has 3 participants each; thus ensuring it is sustainable for our partners in Cuba.

Accommodations will be at Gran Aston Hotel, Havana. It’s important to note that you will stay in a hotel versus a casa due to the ongoing challenges of blackouts. At a hotel, our host organization in Cuba can guarantee you will have meals and electricity and be able to participate in the daily programming.
