#MyVoiceCounts Photo Challenge
One Month Countdown to the 2018 Midterms

The stakes are too high to sit this midterm election out! Only unprecedented civic participation this fall will drive a powerful, people-first agenda that embraces many priorities like the struggle for immigrant rights, ending police violence, health care justice, the fight for workers rights, economic justice, climate justice, and voting rights for all.

That is why we need to build a massive movement ahead of the 2018 midterm elections on the scale usually reserved for the presidential election, and your voice counts!

We challenge you to post a #MyVoiceCounts photo-series to your social media that illustrates an issue you care about, to tell us why it motivates you to vote this November, and to tag three friends to do the same.

Simply:

  1. Post a compilation of several photos on instagram, facebook or twitter about an issue(s) you care about -OR- post a-photo-a-day throughout the week (sample at bottom of page);
  2. Tell us why we need to take action on this issue(s) in your caption;
  3. Tag @globalexchange and hashtag #myvoicecounts #whywevote #riseandorganize #townhallsummer #midterms2018;
  4. Tag 3+ friends to do the #MyVoiceCounts photo challenge!

What we will do with these photos:

At the end of each week, we will repost one photo-series to Global Exchange’s network of 100,000 people.  At the end of the one month challenge, we will select one photo-series to display in San Francisco, California at the closing ceremony of our national civic mobilization campaign, Town Hall Summer. Our final winner will receive a Lush gift-basket.

Here is a #myvoicecounts entry from Global Exchange’s Cuba and Middle East Director, Drea Hightower.
