From Suffrage to Strength: Our Voices Still Rise

Hosted by the Georgia Chapter of the National Organization for Women and The Susan Jolley Foundation, “From Suffrage to Strength: Our Voices Still Rise” aims to commemorate women’s right to vote while acknowledging that many women—especially Black and Hispanic women—continued to face systemic barriers long after 1920. This event connects history, culture, and advocacy, highlighting both the progress made and the work that remains. It also incorporates global perspectives, recognizing the ongoing international struggle to defend democracy and protect women’s rights. By uplifting shared experiences across borders, the event reinforces our commitment to equity, empowerment, and collective action.
