“I was impressed with the ability of Global Exchange to plug us into a variety of social movements and organizations…I am still amazed at the depth of the experience and how profoundly it has impacted my life and those who shared in the tour.”
– Paul Prew, Professor at Minnesota State University
How it works
The theme(s) and format of your trip is completely up to you. Regardless of your interests, you will be able to work directly with a dedicated trip coordinator to design the program. We will listen to your interests, needs and priorities to accommodate your group and ensure that everyone gets the most out of the experience.
With our extensive networks around the world built from nearly 30 years of work as an international human rights organization and travel provider, we are confident we will be able to connect you with unparalleled access to people and places.
Your group will have the unique opportunity to travel to various cities, towns, small communities and natural environments to explore and dialogue on any combination of social, political, environmental, economic or cultural issues you want to focus on, in addition to any standard sightseeing activities you may want to include.
Past groups have examined and learned about issues such as health, education, sustainable development, culture, religion, gender, women’s rights, food sovereignty, conflict resolution, peace, human rights and the impacts of corporate globalization, among many other topics and themes.
