DSCN2663Today marks an important victory and milestone to stop the Keystone XL pipeline. President Obama did as he promised and vetoed the Keystone XL bill recently passed by Congress.

While we celebrate, it is key that we use this moment to convince the President to not only claim his authority to have the final say on the pipeline, but to use that authority to reject the pipeline for good.

The Keystone XL pipeline puts our climate and communities at risk. Please join Global Exchange and our allies at 350.org and urge President Obama to do the right thing and reject the pipeline.

Once you’ve signed on, spread the word. Here is a great video to watch and share from former U.S. Labor Secretary, Robert Reich. The video outlines what is at risk if Obama does not put a stop to the Keystone XL pipeline.

Today’s victory is because of you, your voice, your activism, your protest. Help us get to the finish line and defeat the Keystone XL pipeline project once and for all.
