hra_2013-NoamChomskyGlobal Exchange is looking forward to honoring the life work of Noam Chomsky on May 9, 2013 at our 11th Annual Human Rights Awards gala, where Professor Chomsky will accept the award.

The event will take place at the historic Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and details can be found on the Human Rights Awards website.

Chomsky wears many hats; he is a U.S. linguist, philosopher, scientist, historian, political critic, activist and more. He self-describes his views as “fairly traditional anarchist ones, with origins in the enlightenment and classical liberalism.”

If you’ve ever heard Noam Chomsky speak, you know that he speaks from the heart with refreshing honesty, even while addressing such heavy topics as global warming, capitalism, colonization and imperialism.
