Global Exchange Reality Tours will arrange travel for this cultural research program for the Cubanakoa Foundation of Honolulu, Hawaii to study the relationship between culture and sustainability in Cuba. The program takes place during the Latin American Film Festival and will include meetings with the Cuban film association and the Union of Artists and Writers.The program will include site visits to neighborhood projects that combine art and environmental reclamation.

The Faces of Cuba program coordinator and Historian Rick Moniz has three decades of experience in Cuba. Join him on this 26th trip to the island for a college course being offered by Chabot College that complies with all regulations.

Global Exchange Reality Tours has been asked by the Democratic Women's Club of Monterey County to arrange travel for its professional members for a customized research tour to study Cuba's policies and practice in environmental protection and sustainable development. The program will be holistic in nature, a study of the integration in Cuba of the many different aspects of sustainability (human and environmental) from the perspective of Cuban environmental scientists, policy makers, community practitioners, educators, health care professionals and cultural workers.
