Independent film maker Laura J. Lukitsch has produced an insightful documentary on the culture of Facial Hair, traveling the world to better understand the perceptions and stereotypes about beards. Whether you're part of the club [i.e. have facial hair] or not, this is a must-see film that answers the age-old questions about how beards are inter-connected with our identities.
We are throwing a party to thank those people who donated $100 or more to our Indiegogo Campaign. The party will be from 7 - 8 pm with food from SF Localist, a sustainablely sourced, gourmet caterer who believes so deeply in sustainability that she brings the food bike! There is still time to donate and enjoy the fun. At 8 pm we'll open up the event to the public for a screening of the film with the new audio mix.
