Global Exchange Reality Tours has been asked by Eco Cuba Network of the Green Cities Fund to arrange travel to Cuba this July for a program promoting interchange between U.S. environmental and sustainable development professionals; students; practitioners and activists and Cuban environmental scientists, engineers, policy makers and practitioners, including those attending the IX International Conference on the Environmental and Development, hosted in Cuba by the Cuban Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment (CITMA). The program will include presentations, panel discussions, urban and rural site visits. The focus will be on the potential for US-Cuba communication, cooperation and collaboration in these fields as regards our shared ecosystem, the Gulf of Mexico, and the planet itself.
