If you would like to plan a speaking event with Ariel, please contact her at atariel@globalexchange.org!

Ariel Clay is a senior International Relations student at San Francisco State University who has a passion for human rights. She began her internship at Global Exchange this year working on the Fair Trade Chocolate campaign. She has previously worked with the student organization MEChA which works within the Latino community and she has also participated in the Model United Nations Conference of the FarWest. Her interests include yoga, art, activism, and swimming. Ariel is combining her retail experience she has had at high end boutiques to her Fair Trade experience here at Global Exchange to create a new cache for Fair Trade products and encourage ethical consumerism. Ariel would like to see Fair Trade become the norm. With the work she is doing on the Fair Trade Chocolate Campaign her knowledge of Fair Trade and chocolate has expanded exponentially. Currently Ariel is eating a lot of Fair Trade chocolate and is convinced that it tastes better than regular chocolate!
