Nina Rizzo

Nina Rizzo is the California Freedom from Oil Campus Organizer at Global Exchange. She studied Geography as well as Conservation and Resource Studies at UC Berkeley, where she was a lead organizer for the victorious UC Sweatfree campaign, as spearheaded by United Students Against Sweatshops. Nina played a pivotal role in passing the University of California's recent climate policy; she organizes with students in public, private and community colleges as well as with other organizations participating in the Campus Climate Challenge. She's working to build a youth movement that understands the links between human rights and the environment and takes action, focusing on climate and sustainable transportation policies to address global warming.
