Inside the Minds of Nuclear Warriors
Los Altos Library
13 S. San Antonio Rd.
Los Altos

Nuclear deterrence is a key element of our national security strategy.

How do those responsible for formulating our nuclear-war-fighting strategies cope with the paradox of planning to do that which must not be done, and which would be utterly catastrophic if carried out?

Based on her extensive interviews with these "nuclear warriors," Dr. Lynn Eden, from the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University, explores these issues.

Come and learn how much sense and how much nonsense they perceive in the very plans they helped formulate. At this free talk, Dr. Eden will share the results of her investigations.

*This presentation is part of our series on ridding the world of nuclear weapons.
