Nourishing Abolition: A Celebration to Benefit Critical Resistance with Angela Davis, Climbing PoeTree, Sparhla Swa, Destiny Arts, Randy Garcia-Dancy
First Unitarian Church of Oakland
685 14th St
Oakland

The event will feature:

Angela Y. Davis, Climbing PoeTree, Sparhla Swa, Destiny Arts, Randy Garcia-Dancy, and more...

Tickets are $40 to $80 sliding scale.

We are also raising money for a Community Ticket Fund to make sure low-income Critical Resistance members and supporters can come. The more money we can raise for the CTF, the bigger and better our time together can be!

To purchase tickets or donate to the community ticket fund from the CR website, please visit our website: www.criticalresistance.org

--Critical Resistance seeks to build an international movement
to end the Prison Industrial Complex by challenging the belief
that caging and controlling people makes us safe. We believe that basic necessities such as food, shelter, and freedom are what really make our communities secure. As such, our work is part of global struggles against inequality and powerlessness. The success of the movement requires that it reflect communities most affected by the PIC. Because we seek to abolish the PIC, we cannot support any work that extends its life or scope.--
