JAMIE BROWN

Project Director of BASE in Basel, Switzerland. BASE is the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (www.energy-base.org), a non-profit foundation and a Collaborating Centre for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). BASE works to shift investment into renewable energy and energy efficiency, particularly in developing countries.

Jamie joined BASE in 2007 to establish what is now the UNEP Sustainable Energy Finance Alliance, the only convening body in the international system for public finance agencies in the clean energy sector. Jamie's current projects include an effort to engage with the global finance policy system on sustainability. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Public Banking Institute.

ELLEN H. BROWN

Is an attorney living in Los Angeles and the author of 12 books, including Web of Debt, which traces the evolution of the current private banking system and how it has usurped the power to create money from the people themselves - www.WebofDebt.com

Ellen is also the founder and president of the Public Banking Institute -www.PublicBankingInstitute.org.   She has also written and published over 100 articles on the origins of the banking crisis and its systemic solutions. She will present an overview of public banking and its evolution and suppression, in the USA and abroad; and will speak on how unregulated large private banks have robbed us of our homes and livelihoods, and how this can be remedied.
