End Dirty Energy Campaigns

To save our climate, protect democracy and stop current and future wars for oil, we must move rapidly away from oil as an energy resource to sustainable green energy production and consumption. The End Dirty Energy Program at Global Exchange has put a human face on oil addiction and linked together communities living at the points of oil exploration, production and refining, into one growing global movement working to rein in the oil industry.
In just over a year and a half, we established a global network of 40 groups from Chevron-affected communities, who are from or representing 20 countries or U.S. states. This newly established True Cost of Chevron Network is advocating for meaningful policy changes to rein in and move beyond the oil industry, with specific targets: first on Chevron, and now BP.
