Once again the world in favor of Cuba and against the blockade

AIN- NationalNewsAgency

An outstanding international isolation and a political defeat for the United States was the overwhelming condemn to the economic, commercial and financial blockade held against Cuba. The United Nations takes the issue for the 12th occasion calling attention on damage suffered to the Cuban economy.

Cuban resolution introduced by Chancellor Felipe Perez Roque within the General Assembly of that international body, received 179 "yes" votes, two abstentions and three "no" votes, among the countries who voted against the Cuban resolution, there were the United States, the Zionist regimen of Israel and the Marshall Islands.

In spite of the huge political, military, economic and technological power, the United States was unable to gain support for its ungrateful role of opposing to the world claim of stopping the siege against the island.

Discredit against this criminal practice was clear within the Cuban Resolution draft entitled "Need to put an end to the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba." This draft received more support than it did during last year' sessions.

During year 2002, the condemning resolution on Washington's policy against Havana that endures for more than four decades witnessed the favorable support of 173 countries, four abstentions and only three voted against the condemning resolution, and these were the United States, its faithful ally Israel and Marshall Islands.

Cuba has been able to turn into piece arguments and lies of the North American Empire. Cuba has suffered severe damages for more than 72 thousand millions dollars and generations after generations have been born under the unfair sufferings of this cruel siege.

The world said no to the economic blockade against Cuba this Tuesday because the empire lacks of all legal, moral and ethic grounds, because according to the Geneva Convention for the Prevention and Sanction of Crime and Genocide, 1948, what Cuba has gone through is regarded as a genocidal act.

In this way, the supreme world forum expressed its support to international law, to trade freedom and navigation, also to respect to sovereignty of countries and its opposition to the application of extraterritorial acts.
